The Birth of Our Cat Hotel
It all began in 2017, on a lazy Sunday outing with our late father. Somewhere between brunch and aimless wandering, we stumbled upon a community cat adoption drive.
That’s where we met our first two muses — Bandit, a roguishly handsome American Curl, and Pebbles, a grumpy (yet strangely regal) exotic shorthair. Enchanted by their presence and their peculiar, endearing ways, we adopted them in a heartbeat.
As lifelong dog people, we thought we were prepared.
And cats, as we soon discovered, are different.
They move to their own rhythm — independent, intuitive, and endlessly fascinating.
They are, in every sense, living art.
Over the years, we welcomed more cats into our homes. Each one added a new brushstroke to our lives — a story, a presence, a portrait of companionship. The deeper our bond with them grew, the clearer it became: cats deserve more than just space — they deserve thoughtful, intentional care.
From Pet Sitters to a Cat Hotel with Heart
As our feline families grew, travel became complicated. Finding a space that offered not just safety, but soul, was nearly impossible. We tried. We hoped. We compromised. And eventually, we travelled less.
Then, the calls started coming in:
“Can you look after our cats while we’re away?”
We said yes. Then yes again. Until it became clear:
We couldn’t be everywhere — but we could create a place.
